This vintage merchant scrip from A.
Wilder - Lewis, New York is a piece of US obsolete currency that collectors will appreciate. Dating back to 1837, this $1 note features a rendition of the New York State Seal at the top right, adding a touch of historical significance.
At the bottom, you'll find a vignette depicting a dog guarding a strongbox and key, symbolizing fidelity. Measuring approximately 7" x 3", this note is in about uncirculated condition with some thin areas and light stains, possibly from a previous mounting.
