The Carolina Miners & Planters Bank Note is a piece of US obsolete currency that was in circulation from 1859 until its failure in 1866. This particular banknote, dating back to 1860, features a striking red and black design.
On the left side, you'll find a rarely seen and intricately detailed mining vignette, while above the title is a vignette depicting an overseer observing cotton picking.
