1855 Johnston Astronomy Print Solar Sun Spots Zodiacal Lights Star Magnitudes
This authentic antique map, approximately 167 years old, is a piece from A.
K. Johnston's A School Atlas of Astronomy, originally published in Edinburgh & London by William Blackwood & Sons in 1855. Sold as a single sheet, unframed and unmatted, the print showcases a celestial map with an image area measuring around 9 by 12 inches on a 10 1/2 by 13 1/2-inch page.
The condition is excellent for its age, printed on sturdy paper and blank on the reverse, with a centerfold as originally issued.
A facsimile copy of the title page is included for historical context.
