The Humminbird AS EC QDE Square Ethernet Adapter Cable is a 12-inch cable that enables Ethernet capabilities on a 700 HD Series Humminbird product. It is mandatory to use two of these cables if you are connecting one 700 HD Series product with another 700 HD Series product. However, if you are connecting one 700 HD Series product with an 800, 900, or 1100 Series product, you will only need one adapter cable and one of the AS EC 2, 10, 20 or 30 foot cables. It is important to note that software updates may be necessary for some 700 HD and some 800, 900 and 1100 Series products.
If you are networking two fish finders from the above list together, it will require two (2) AS EC QDE cables plus one (1)AS EC2, 10, 20 or 30 foot Ethernet cables of the appropriate length for your boat’s needs.
