The hydrometer provides accurate readings through its two scales: Proof, following the US International Revenue Scale for proof of spirits, and Tralles, indicating the actual percentage of alcohol. Calibrated for precision at 60F (15.6C), this kit also includes a temperature adjustment chart for different temperature conditions. To use the hydrometer, simply fill a test tube with the liquid sample for analysis.
