1890 Standard Oil Trust Bond - J.D. Rockefeller & J.D. Archbold
This antique bond, issued and cancelled in 1890, is a piece of American history. It belonged to the Rockefeller-Archbold Oil Trust and is signed by J.D. Rockefeller, President, and J.D. Archbold, Secretary. The bond is green in color and measures 16 inches by 7 3/4 inches, including the side stub. It was printed by the Franklin Bank Note Company in New York and has some minor pinholes and a couple of folds. This bond is a unique addition to any collection of oil and gas stocks and bonds scripophily.
