These tubular rivets feature a dome head and are designed to be inserted into pre-drilled holes, with the mandrel drawn into the rivet using a specialized tool. With a body made of aluminum and a steel mandrel, these rivets offer a shear strength of at least 380 lbs and meet SAE J-1200 specifications. The rivets have a head diameter of .394", a head height of .06", and a barrel length of 1.325", providing a grip range of 1.001" to 1.125".
Open end blind rivets are tubular rivets with a mandrel through the center. The entire rivet assembly is inserted into a hole drilled through the parts to be joined, and a specially designed tool is used to draw the mandrel into the rivet.
