The Raspberry PowerLink is a Gigabit PoE Splitter designed to provide seamless connectivity for Raspberry Pi 3B+ and ASUS Tinker development boards. It offers a 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet Active PoE Splitter with a Micro USB plug, compliant with IEEE 802.3af and with 2.5KV isolation. The splitter must be connected with a PoE switch or 48V PoE Injector to supply power to the connected device. When using a standard PoE switch or injector, the splitter will enter standby mode if the power output port (Micro USB) is not loaded, and the data output port (RJ 45 Male) will not work at this moment. To avoid this issue, it is recommended to use a 48V Passive PoE Injector Switch.
When using 80.3af/802.3at standard PoE switch (or injector) to connect this PoE splitter,and the Power Output Port (Micro USB) is not loaded (unconnected device),the PoE splitter will enter standby mode.
