The double action rigid handle features a self-centering mechanism for quick and accurate measurements. The set includes sizes A through F, with each size corresponding to a specific range of hole or slot diameters. Under uniform spring tension, the plunger of the gage expands from the center to the diameter of the hole or width of the slot being measured and then locks in place with a knurled knob. The hole size is found by measuring over the two contact points with a micrometer or caliper.
