This antique map, created over 175 years ago by Aristide Michel Perrot and engraved by Pierre Antoine Tardieu, is a fine piece from the Atlas Portatif de France (Paris, 1833). Not mounted or matted, the map is a miniature display of intricate detail, measuring approximately 3 1/2 by 5 inches on a 4 1/2 by 5 1/2" page. Its historical value is evident, with Perrot's name in the bottom left and Tardieu's in the bottom right, offering a glimpse into the cartographic craftsmanship of the past.
