This Junius Brutus Denarius is a fine example of a Roman Republic coin from 300-27 BC.
The reverse features the consul L. Junius Brutus, accompanied by an accensus and two lictors, each carrying fasces with an axe over his left shoulder.
The obverse depicts the head of Libertas to the right, wearing a pendant earring and necklace. Measuring 19mm and weighing 4.09g, this coin is in choice good-VF detail with a beautiful old-collection tone.
