Antique PAIR of HEAVY Hand Carved Wooden Bookends with Hand Painted Features!!!!
These hand-carved wooden bookends with hand-painted features are a unique addition to any bookshelf. Their origin is uncertain, but they are believed to pre-date WWII and may be from China, Japan, or Korea. The wood is heavy and has no cracks or chips, though there is some wear to the finish on the edges and corners. The felt on the bottoms is original but should be replaced. Measuring approximately 10" X 2" at the base X 6" tall, these bookends are a affordable and a beautiful example of antique Asian craftsmanship.
