KanaPlex is a medication designed for the treatment of fungal and bacterial fish diseases in both freshwater and marine aquaria. Its blended kanamycin formula is effective and safe, treating conditions such as dropsy, popeye, fin/tail rot, and septicemia. The medication is easily absorbed by fish, making it useful for treating internal infections when food is refused. KanaPlex does not harm the filter bed and can be removed with carbon. Its palatability can be enhanced by using GarlicGuard. The recommended dosage is 1 level measure (125 mg) to every 20 L (5 gallons), repeated every 2 days until symptoms disappear or up to a maximum of 3 doses.
