Antique English Hand Painted Pearlware Teapot, Dog Finial, c.
1780 - 1815. This is a beautiful teapot that is an early pearlware example with a beautiful handpainted floral design. This has a very attractive octagonal shaped body with a spout on one end and the handle on the other end.
The teapot has a spaniel dog as the finial on the lid. This is unmarked but dates to the late 18th to the early part of the 19th century.
Very early hand painted pearlware teapot offered here with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The teapot is 5 3/4" H.
x 4 3/4" W. x 10 3/4" L. from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle. CONDITION: This is in very good condition with the most of the tea pot in great condition.
The end of the spout has been restored and the damage is invisible to the naked eye.
