These Dome Head Aluminum Rivets are a pack of 100 open end blind rivets with a mandrel through the center. The rivet assembly is inserted into a hole drilled through the parts to be joined, and a specially designed tool is used to draw the mandrel into the rivet. This expands the blind end of the rivet and snaps off the mandrel. With a rivet trade size of 4-1 and a rivet size of 1/8" x 1/16", these aluminum rivets have a head diameter of .238", head height of .04", and barrel length of .212". They have a grip range of .020" - .062" and meet the SAE J-1200 specification with a minimum shear strength of 120 lb.
