The Deep Space Imager 9MP is a high-performance telescope eyepiece and lens designed for capturing high definition, low noise images of deep space objects.
It features a diagonal 15.968mm Type 1CMOS sensor with a color square pixel array and 3.76m x 3.76m per pixel. With a built-in 256MB DDRIII image buffer and a 14-bit A/D converter, the sensor can read out signals of 9.07M effective pixels at high-speed of 20 FPS.
The low read out noise of 1.0e makes it an ideal choice for deep space imaging. Computer configuration requirements include Intel 4th generation i 5 for desktops and Intel 6th generation i 5 for laptops, with a minimum of 4GB and 8GB of memory, respectively.
