El Salvador, 5 Colones, 1998, P-147a, AJ-Serie, UNC Columbus, Pre-USD$
Top 6%

This El Salvadorian paper currency is a 5 Colones note from the Columbus Era, issued in 1998 by El Banco Central De Reserva De El Salvador.
While it is no longer circulated or issued, this note is a crisp, uncirculated example with full original colors, no pinholes, no paper splits, and sharp corners.
It is fully and strongly embossed, making it a valuable addition to any collection of historical paper currency. Please note that starting in 2001, the US Dollar became the legal tender in El Salvador, and the Salvadorian colone is no longer in use.
