1491 INCUNABULA KOBERGER Bonaventura on Sentences of P. Lombardus antique

Titled "Bonaventura's Legacy: Antique Commentaries on Lombardus' Sentences from 1500," it contains the first two books of the commentaries of Bonaventure on the 'Sentences' of Petrus Lombardus. The book is a folio size, measuring 9 by 12 3/4 inches and contains 146 leaves (including 2 blanks) and 192 pages. It features a fine original richly blind tooled pigskin over wooden boards with raised bands, with intact brass clasps and catches. Some faded dampstains and annotations on the title and last leaf in an old hand are present. The text is in Latin and the book is a compilation of theology written by Peter Lombard in the 12th century.
